The year 2023 is almost over and the tax season is finally done for 2022. CSEA held a Education Foundation Meeting by Susie DiMaggio, EA chaired the meeting.

The Education meeting was held on November 13, 2023. Here are some of the highlights from the meeting.
Before I go into the meeting’s highlights, I need to mention the coming Super Seminar that will be held on June 11-13, 2024, in Phoenix, AZ. This is change of venue from Reno, NV it was decided that change of location would be a welcomed change. This is a great opportunity to get 20 hours of live CE. The Education meeting reviewed the budget and some expenditures. Scholarships were approved and awarded for $620 and $800. The next item was the contribution effort from the members. The committee will be looking into ways to improve the contribution including going outside the membership for possible grants and contributions. The last item was the approval of the Trustee Job Description as submitted. After some discussion it was put to a vote and passed. This concluded the business at hand until the next meeting on February 12, 2024.
