Tax season is here again…And we are off to an exciting start of today but as we all know IRS is still very behind in processing returns and sending out levy notices when they already have the information they need. Let’s hope this gets better this season.

The Chapter will be dark for the next 2 months (March and April); however, the education committee is still sailing the ship and putting together great classes for our return in May. The 2022-year planning is in progress. Stay tuned for updates on the topics and speakers. Are there topics or speakers you would like to see? Please let us know. We will be planning on presenting the 4-hour afternoon sessions again during the Summer and we look forward to seeing everyone.

February 15th will be our traditional education event with Lynn Freer to review CA tax updates and highlight information to help make our tax season better. The Elks Lodge will be serving Chicken and Fish for dinner this evening. If you have any dietary needs, please let me know.

A friendly reminder to register for the Feb class through the CSEA site.

As always, we are looking for more volunteers to assist with our education events. If you want to become more involved and meet more professionals, please contact me at kim@nmtaxsolutions.com.
