January Education Update

Happy New Year. As we closed the door to 2021 and prepare for the new year of 2022, I want to thank everyone for being part of our family. 2021 was another interesting tax year for us all and hopefully, we can take time to reflect on what worked and what didn’t and grow from it. A great quote I think about is “You never know how strong you are, until being strong is your only choice.”-Bob Marley. I think this sums up our adventure in 2021.

January class will be our traditional Quickfinder class! We will be at the Santa Ana Elks Lodge and dinner is provided with registration. Jane Ryder, EA, CPA, will be back and she is ready to give us her take on the updates. Jane has been providing tax preparation, accounting services, and tax collection resolution services since 1980. She runs her San Diego CPA firm, Brass Tax Ryder Professional Group, Inc., and writes and speaks on many income taxes, business compliance, and accounting topics. The class is specifically tailored for the tax professional preparing tax returns, using the Quickfinder Individual and Business desk reference books for the 2021 tax year.

The February meeting will be our CA tax update class taught by Lynn Freer. Reminder we will be dark in March and April.
